Period 1 Ceramics Gallery

This was my first attempt at doing a slab slump mold, at first it was frustrating trying to get a perfect slab that molded around my plate. it took a few classes to finish the glazing.

This was a nice cup to sgraffito. i chose to underglaze then sgraffito and then fire it. I was thinking of leaves for the details and blue is my favorite color so i decided to underglaze it blue.

This also was frustrating and took a few classes to finish. i think just getting all the coils to stick together and stay in place was the hard part, but having a cup to help mold the pieces really helped.

I was thinking of something I could make easy and multiple of and came up with different colored lady bugs. I was happy with these but upset with the yellow one because I messed up the eye. I could give these to someone or use them as cup placemat.
