My Name is Joshua Mata, I am a Junior at San Lorenzo Valley Highschool, class of 2026. This is my first year taking ceramics and the class is enjoyable so far. There's a lot of thought and creativity that goes into making our assigned projects. I think for me and where my skill level is at, is I like to take it slow, easy and simple. Although going forward as the assignments get a little harder, I will need to step up my game. I hope to get better at wheeling by watching tutorials on how to wheel, so i can make better sculptures and pieces.
